Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred.
• Fellow or Diplomat of American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), preferred.
• Two years of Quality or Risk Management experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting; acute care experience preferred.
• Experience in risk management and/or professional liability claims management preferred.
• Knowledge of current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to the facility.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Director of Performance Improvement and Risk Management in designing, organizing, coordinating and implementing the Risk Management Program.
• Participate in risk management data collection, activities, and functions to promote high-quality care.
• Assist with claims investigation, management and litigation.
• Facilitate reporting of safety data/events and conduct trend analysis.
• Develop and implement initiatives, policies, and staff education regarding risk reduction under supervision.
• Oversee grievance process and risk incident reporting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on problem identification and resolution.
