Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Risk Manager II to lead the risk management program across assigned areas, mentor staff, and drive compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires extensive clinical or medical-legal experience and supervisory background, with strong PC literacy.

As a key advisor to physicians and administrators, you will develop policies, oversee investigations, and collaborate with regulatory agencies to improve patient safety and reduce liability exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a closely related field.
• Five (5) years of clinical or medical legal experience, to include three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity and two (2) years of Risk Management experience.
• Advanced PC literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management plan administration across assigned areas, driving strategic initiatives that reduce organizational risk and enhance patient safety.
• Coordinates and leads complex risk management projects with cross-departmental impact, ensuring effective collaboration and measurable outcomes.
• Conducts advanced data analytics to identify emerging risk trends, inform decision-making, and recommend targeted interventions.
• Designs, delivers, and evaluates educational programs that empower staff to proactively mitigate risk and reduce liability exposure.
• Develops and refines risk management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory standards and best practices.
• Represents Orlando Health in high-level interactions with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and external stakeholders, advocating for organizational interests and compliance.
