Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPHRM within 1 year of hire or transfer.
• 3–5 years healthcare risk management experience.
• Clinical risk management experience in a large acute care hospital a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of risk management processes.
• Coordinate regulatory and accrediting surveys.
• Investigate occurrences and perform root cause analysis with action plans.
• Maintain occurrence reporting system and supporting databases.
• Collaborate with Patient Relations on investigations of complaints/grievances.
• Identify liability exposures and work with self-insurance to mitigate risks.
