Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required, or two+ years of direct experience in lieu.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in a closely related field with Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–4 years of previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates departmental performance to achieve goals in risk management and quality standards.
• Participates in development and monitoring of policies, procedures, and standards for risk management.
• Collaborates with other departments to identify and resolve risk-related issues.
• Manages risk assessments, investigations, and internal reporting across the facility.
• Educates staff on risk management protocols and patient safety initiatives.
• Oversees investigations and defense of claims and discovery requests.
• Provides budget planning and resource recommendations for risk activities.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with policies.
