Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee is seeking a Risk Management Nurse to oversee patient safety initiatives, CMS data management, claims oversight, and education components of the facility's risk program.

You will collaborate with facility leadership, coordinate education for new hires, current staff, visitors and students, and work with committees to address complaints and opportunities to improve patient satisfaction and reduce liabilities.

Qualifications

• RN license or registered nurse certification.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 2 years of related clinical and/or risk management experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk/CMS data, claims and education components of the facility's risk management program.
• Establish, coordinate and manage Patient Safety education initiatives for new employees, current staff, visitors and students.
• Collaborate with facility leadership and act as liaison to committees to address complaints and opportunities to improve patient satisfaction and reduce liabilities.
