Job summary

Your Health is seeking a Business Office Manager in South Carolina to oversee financial operations, focusing on revenue cycle management, accounts receivable, and accurate billing. You will collaborate with regional leadership to ensure financial health and regulatory compliance across facilities, homes, clinics, and virtual visits.

The role is full-time, 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities to optimize processes and support patients and colleagues in a patient-centered care

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate with other departments
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a healthcare setting
• Analytical problem-solving and sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate patient insurance for assigned regions using specific software and reports
• Answer patient and employee questions on copayments, insurance, billing, collections, and coverage
• Assist with cash and insurance collections and support statewide Accounts Receivable
• Provide critical financial information for new patients and clients
• Update patient financial information including primary and secondary insurances
• Monitor and report on revenue cycle metrics and identify improvement opportunities
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment plans, and financial assistance options
• Support staff in navigating billing software and resolving financial concerns
