Job summary

Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst for a hybrid role in Hartford, CT. You will analyze incoming payments, payer communications, and contract terms to ensure timely payment according to policies.

The position reports to the Senior Regional Contracting Manager within Revenue & Reimbursement. Qualifications include an Associate degree and 3–5 years in healthcare revenue cycle or finance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; 3–5 years healthcare revenue cycle or finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, Medical Terminology; proficiency in MS Word and Excel; EPIC HB Reimbursement Contracts.

Responsibilities

• Reviews payer payments and resolves hospital payment discrepancies within EPIC work queues.
• Reviews payer policies as communicated.
• Monitors underpaid hospital claims to bring to full resolution.
