Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a healthcare business development professional in North Carolina to serve as the primary relationship manager with referral sources. The role involves educating physicians, hospitals, and senior care facilities about Enhabit services and program requirements to drive referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field or graduate of approved nursing, therapy or social work program.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Clinical license required if applicable per state requirements.
• Experience in home health, hospice, post-acute care or related healthcare services preferred.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred.
• Established relationships with physicians, hospitals or senior living communities preferred.
• Dependable transportation and ability to drive in all weather.
• Oral and written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources, educating providers about services and program requirements to facilitate post-acute care transitions.
• Supports referral growth by raising awareness and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and satisfaction through effective care transitions.
