Job summary

Vital HealthCare Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruiting across clinical and non-clinical roles in an onsite Wilkes-Barre, PA setting.

You will partner with leadership to manage multiple searches, handle compensation discussions, and build strong candidate relationships while ensuring compliant, timely hiring. The role requires 3+ years of full-cycle healthcare recruiting experience, with preferred experience in NP/PA/physician recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) and physicians preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple searches and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability for recruiting outcomes.
• Willingness to work outside traditional business hours to accommodate candidate availability.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

What you will do

As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will lead end-to-end (full cycle) recruiting, from strategy through placement. Your work will span both clinical and non-clinical hiring, partnering closely with leadership to align staffing priorities with recruiting execution.

• Develop recruiting strategy and manage the process from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and placement.
• Attract and recruit healthcare professionals for clinical roles, including advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) and physicians, as well as non-clinical positions when needed.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and organizational leadership to understand staffing priorities, recommend recruitment approaches, and drive hiring outcomes.
• Identify and engage qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
• Build strong candidate relationships by providing timely communication and delivering a professional recruiting experience.
• Handle compensation discussions, manage competing priorities, and communicate decisions confidently, including in difficult situations.
• Maintain accurate ATS records, monitor recruiting performance, and ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations.

• Willingness to work outside traditional business hours when needed to accommodate candidate availability.
