Job summary

VHS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to own full-cycle recruitment, from strategy to placement, across clinical and non-clinical roles. You will build strong relationships with leadership, navigate complex negotiations, and manage multiple searches in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of full-cycle healthcare recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) and/or physicians preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple searches and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability for outcomes.
• Willingness to work outside traditional hours when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Full‑Cycle Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process from strategy development and sourcing through screening, offer negotiation, and placement.
• Healthcare Talent Acquisition: Recruit qualified healthcare professionals across clinical roles, including advanced practice providers and physicians, as well as non‑clinical positions as needed.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers and organizational leadership to understand staffing priorities, advise on recruitment strategies, and drive hiring outcomes.
• Sourcing & Relationship Building: Identify and engage qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
• Candidate Engagement: Build strong relationships with candidates, provide timely communication, and deliver a professional recruitment experience.
• Decision‑Making & Negotiation: Navigate compensation discussions, manage competing priorities, and confidently communicate decisions—even when faced with resistance.
• Recruitment Metrics & Compliance: Maintain accurate ATS records, monitor recruiting performance, and ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of full‑cycle healthcare recruiting experience required.
• Experience recruiting advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) and/or physicians is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple searches, prioritize competing needs, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, relationship‑building, and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain accountability for recruiting outcomes.
• Comfortable advising hiring managers, navigating challenging conversations, and making decisions with confidence.
• Willingness to work outside traditional business hours when needed to accommodate candidate availability.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
