Job summary

Jackson Physician Search in Alpharetta seeks an entry-level Research Consultant to help source and engage physicians and advanced practice providers. You will conduct phone screens, manage candidate credentials, and build strong relationships with clients under structured training and mentorship.

You’ll travel 10–15% annually and work in a collaborative, high-performing culture that rewards initiative and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Jackson Physician Search is seeking a Research Consultant, also known as an entry-level Physician Recruiter, to join our Alpharetta team. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in permanent physician recruiting through sourcing, cold outreach, and relationship building with candidates and clients, supported by structured training, coaching, and mentorship. You’ll spend much of your day proactively connecting with physicians and advanced practice providers to identify qualified candidates for our clients. What You’ll Do:

• Make outbound calls to physicians and advanced practice providers to source and engage qualified candidates
• Conduct thorough phone screens with attention to detail and prompt follow-up
• Update the internal client and provider database with recruitment-related activity
• Oversee and manage the credentials and availability of provider candidates
• Achieve productivity goals and performance metrics
• Travel overnight to conduct onsite client profiles (10-15% annually)

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of sales, recruiting, customer service, or other relationship-focused experience preferred
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and eager to develop sourcing, recruiting, and negotiation skills
• Confident, professional, and resilient with the ability to build relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare executives
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to meet performance metrics in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Stable employment history with verifiable references
