A leading healthcare staffing agency in Ann Arbor is seeking a skilled Travel Healthcare Recruiter to source and place rehab therapy professionals. This full-time position offers a competitive base salary and uncapped commission, along with various employee benefits. Ideal candidates will have over 4 years of recruiting experience, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

About the Role

As a Travel Healthcare Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and placing rehab therapy professionals in travel assignments nationwide. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and account managers to ensure successful placements and build lasting candidate relationships.

Candidates must have a strong track record recruiting and retaining travel rehab therapists, as well as a solid understanding of assignment profitability. Experience with ATS systems—particularly LaborEdge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and place qualified therapy professionals into 13-week travel assignments across the U.S.
• Build and manage a strong book of business and pipeline of “ready-to-go” clinicians.
• Negotiate pay packages, extend offers, and close deals efficiently.
• Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly recruitment goals.
• Utilize ATS (preferably LaborEdge), job boards, social media, and referrals to source candidates.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of travel healthcare recruiting experience (rehab therapy strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to retain travel clinicians and maximize assignment profitability
• Strong ability to negotiate and close deals
• Familiarity with LaborEdge ATS and VMS platforms
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
• Highly organized, goal-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset
• Thrives under deadlines and demonstrates urgency in execution
