Renown-Health seeks a Supervisor of Quality to manage the day-to-day operations of the quality department in Reno, NV. The role leads staff, guides data-driven improvement, and ensures regulatory compliance while coordinating with clinical and operational leaders.

The position emphasizes patient safety, performance improvement, and collaborative implementation of quality initiatives, with reporting and oversight of provider performance measures.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, pharmacy or other health related field.
• A master’s degree in a clinical or healthcare related field preferred.
• Three years of healthcare leadership experience preferred.
• Three years in quality improvement/patient safety management required.
• Knowledge of JC and CMS state/federal regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare operations.
• Ability to obtain Nevada RN license at hire.
• Nevada driver’s license and ability to pass DMV criteria.
• CPHQ or CPPS certification within 2 years of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise Quality Department staff to achieve quality, safety and performance goals.
• Support leadership and interdisciplinary teams through data collection, analysis and reporting to drive clinical care and safety.
• Oversee progress of quality and provider performance initiatives and report barriers to leadership.
• Analyze data to identify concerns and develop recommendations and corrective actions.
• Prepare and present concise reports on quality improvement activities and performance outcomes.
• Coordinate and support provider review and peer review activities in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Joint Commission, CMS and state/federal regulations.
• Collaborate with operational, nursing, provider and medical staff to implement improvement plans.
• Lead strategic quality and patient safety initiatives across the organization.
• Facilitate special projects as assigned.
• Monitor quality measurement and action plans from audits and reviews.
