Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Quality Outcomes Specialist for Springfield Regional Medical Center. The role ensures delivery of high-quality care meeting regulatory standards and payor expectations, supporting quality reviews and performance improvement efforts.

Required: active RN or PT license, BSN or higher in healthcare, minimum 2 years of clinical experience; CHPQ certification preferred. This on-site position offers growth and a focus on patient safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Current clinical license (RN or PT) in the state of work or compact license (required).
• BSN or MS/Doctorate in a healthcare field preferred.
• 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CHPQ) or related quality certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in evaluation, monitoring and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Prepares quality reports for external agencies and payors; supports quality and patient safety committees.
• Supports organizational quality, patient safety, and performance improvement projects.
• Supports Medical Staff Quality and Peer Review.
• Promotes practices using reliable tools to improve patient safety and a just culture.
• Uses data analytics to support performance/process improvement.
• Assists with regulatory surveys and accreditation activities.
• Facilitates provider performance review activities through peer review processes.
