Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives across the organization. You will work with clinical, operational, and administrative staff to monitor performance and promote continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

The role emphasizes compliance with CARF, Medicaid/Medicare, and other regulators, including OhioRISE, with a focus on improving outcomes

Qualifications

• Collect, analyze, and report data related to quality indicators, outcome measures, and client satisfaction surveys.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external audits, including documentation review, chart audits, and regulatory surveys.
• Support compliance with accreditation and licensing standards (e.g., CARF, state Medicaid agency, MCOs, etc.).
• Support quality improvement projects, including PDSA cycles and root cause analyses.
• Implement quality improvement efforts in the OhioRISE program, ensuring compliance with policies and contractual obligations.
• Monitor and track corrective action plans (CAPs) and follow up on identified areas of improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and visualizations for internal reporting to track progress on quality and compliance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure documentation and service delivery meet payer and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes, and follow-up activities.
• Assist in developing and updating quality-related policies, procedures, and training materials.
• All other duties as assigned.
