Job summary

LIFE Pittsburgh is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead its quality program, evaluate and implement initiatives, and ensure compliance with Federal, State and PACE regulations. You will oversee data collection, analysis, display and reporting to clinical and administrative leaders, and manage quality improvement projects.

The role requires collaboration with management and staff across clinical and operational areas, strong knowledge of healthcare quality management, and experience

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of Quality Management within a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated clinical, quality assessment, and leadership experience; excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Quality assessment, and training experience; knowledge of utilization review and third party payer criteria, regulatory requirements' and quality assessment criteria
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection and entry, initial analysis of quality data, data display and interpretation.
• Lead and manage projects focused on quality initiatives and improved Participant care.
• Monitor compliance with Federal, State and PACE regulations and maintain centralized records for audits.
• Facilitate QI meetings and educate management and staff on quality monitoring methods.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or related field

Master’s degree preferred

CPHQ certification preferred
