Job summary

UK King’s Daughters is seeking a Buyer Associate to handle day-to-day purchasing operations, process purchase orders, and coordinate stock, non-stock, and capital items in our Ashland, Kentucky facility.

You will support requisition workflows, maintain accurate records, assist with month-end close, and help train staff on procurement systems and processes. This role is on-site and requires attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years in healthcare or related field.
• Experience handling purchase orders and records.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ashland, KY.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders accurately.
• Coordinate returns, recalls and backorders.
• Respond to inquiries about orders and delivery timelines.
• Maintain purchasing records and support reporting.
• Assist in month-end close and system navigation training.
