Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, one year of related experience, and familiarity with ERP systems. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with a professional approach

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of courier or supply technician experience preferred; healthcare purchasing experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP or materials management systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit purchase orders to distributors and suppliers via phone, email, EDI, and other methods.
• Analyze purchase requisitions, determine appropriate vendors, and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials are purchased efficiently and timely.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and terms; negotiate pricing within contracts.
• Conduct market research to ensure best price and service for the facility.
• Audit purchase orders and invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
