Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Security Officer for the Fond du Lac Campus (Public Safety). This full-time position covers a 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) on Sundays-Thursday, 80 hours bi-weekly, with holiday work as scheduled.

Requires licensure, a valid driver's license, and 4 years in security/public safety with strong customer service focus. Base duties include patrolling, incident reporting, traffic control, and collaboration with medical staff and law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 4 years of experience in a security, public safety, or customer service role with exposure to emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides security services with a customer-service approach, focusing on professionalism, fairness, and compassion.
• Performs routine patrols to identify vulnerabilities, hazards, and fire conditions; conducts safety audits.
• Responds to emergencies and service calls; de-escalates situations using approved safety protocols and, if necessary, restraining techniques.
