Job summary

Colliers Project Leaders in the Long Island, New York area is seeking a Project Manager passionate about healthcare. You will provide unbiased client advocacy across planning and execution for healthcare facilities, from planning through closeout.

Lead a project team, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants, and ensure client goals are met while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture/engineering/construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of healthcare sector experience.
• Prior owner's rep experience on healthcare projects.
• Experience with municipal entities or non-profits and public procurement rules.
• Experience overseeing capital projects in healthcare facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to read/write English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex healthcare projects from start to finish on time and on budget.
• Build strong client relationships and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams.
• Understand PM processes with architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Manage scope to meet clients' goals within budget and schedule.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate scheduling, cost, quality, and progress risks.
• Review project docs, budgets, schedules, contracts, and proposals.
• Review construction documents for conformance and value engineering.
• Prepare monthly reports, budgets, schedules, minutes, and logs.
• Oversee project team performance and financial aspects of acquisitions and due diligence.
