Job summary

HFG Architecture is seeking a Project Architect to lead design development and construction documentation for healthcare facilities across multiple states. You will collaborate with engineers, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to codes and standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years of healthcare project experience, strong Revit skills, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Licensed Architect (or on path to licensure within 12 months).
• 5-10 years of architectural experience, preferably in healthcare or complex technical building types
• Proficiency in Revit required; experience with Bluebeam, Rendering Structure, and Microsoft Office preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems, detailing, and construction methods
• Excellent communication, coordination, and time-management skills
• Ability to lead technical production efforts with minimal supervision
• Experience with FGI guidelines
• LEED Accreditation or interest in sustainable design
• Passion for healthcare design and improving environments for healing and wellness
• Strong initiative to act or take charge before others do

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectural drawings and specifications across all project phases (SD, DD, CD, CA).
• Ensure design intent is documented and integrated into technical execution.
• Collaborate with engineers to maintain alignment between concept and final deliverables.
• Uphold consistency, accuracy, and completeness in all project documents.
• Manage design deliverables and contribute to project scheduling to meet milestones.
• Support Studio Director and Project Manager in monitoring profitability and risks.
• Ensure smooth project delivery from concept through construction and alignment.
• Coordinate with project managers, interior designers, engineers, and contractors.
