Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks a Product Management Manager to translate strategy, regulatory commitments, and operational needs into prioritized roadmaps and measurable outcomes. You will lead product owners delivering in an agile environment, including planning, intake, prioritization, backlog readiness, and vendor collaboration to improve affordability, quality, and member/provider experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4 years related experience.
Degree in business, finance, economics, public health, IT preferred.
7 years of prior relevant experience in product management, product ownership, program management, health care operations, or related business experience translating business needs into requirements, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead product owners supporting HQA agile delivery, including quarterly planning, intake, prioritization, backlog readiness, vendor collaboration, and outcome measurement.
Help ensure the right work is built at the right time, reduce rework, strengthen business readiness, and connect product investments to measurable improvements in affordability, quality, compliance, operational efficiency, and member and provider experience.
