Job summary

Sentara Health Plan is seeking a Sr Process Improvement Engineer / LSSGB to drive process enhancements within our Health Plan. This remote, full-time role focuses on data-driven methods to streamline workflows, cut waste, and improve care delivery across multiple states.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in process improvement or healthcare management, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (LSSBB) is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of process improvement or healthcare management experience required.
• Health plan experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, and related methods to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and sustain improvements.
