Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health is seeking a practice administrator to oversee operational, financial, and service performance for designated physician practice locations. The role supports new practice startups and integrates them with SJRMC’s network.

You will coordinate processes across P/P setup, IT transition for practice staff, HR trainings, and purchasing while ensuring accurate patient data collection and strong customer service within the network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college desirable.
• Analytical, technical and writing skills needed to supervise staff and resolve issues.
• Medical Coding certification (AAPC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational, financial and service performance of assigned physician practice locations.
• Assist with new practice startups and network integration with SJRMC.
• Coordinate processes between practices and SJRMC departments (P/P setup, IT systems transition, HR trainings, purchasing).
• Maintain workflow and prompt collection of patient demographics and insurance information.
• Participate in oversight of physician billing and monitor staff performance.
• Ensure excellent customer service, efficient patient flow, and clear communication with patients, physicians and hospital departments.
