Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking a Practice Administrator to lead operations across multiple physician practices in the Primary Care Service Line. You will oversee daily clinical and business operations, staffing, budgets, and performance analytics, partnering with providers and office managers to improve throughput and patient experience.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, with a Master’s in healthcare or business preferred, plus several years in healthcare management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required.
• Master’s degree in healthcare or business administration preferred.
• Four years healthcare experience, including one year supervisory or lead experience.
• Two years of management experience in a physician practice or ambulatory care setting within a hospital system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, delegate, coordinate, and control operations of assigned practices.
• Oversee budget management and financial oversight and review.
• Develop business plans and financial proformas to evaluate growth opportunities.
• Provide expertise in front end revenue cycle processes, practice performance analytics, patient throughput, and data analysis.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using LEAN, DMAIC, and value-stream mapping.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain safety and quality across practices.
• Travel between off-campus clinic locations to support operations.
