Texas Children's Physician Service Organization seeks a Practice Administrator to plan, organize, staff, and direct activities in coordination with designated physician leaders across clinical sections of TCPSO. Responsibilities include planning, performance management, improvement, staff development, budgeting, policies, and collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine on research and academics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
• Master's degree in business, health care or related field preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare operations experience. Preferred supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Quality care: Improves patient access/flow, family satisfaction, referrals, research outcomes, and staff retention through service-based and cross-functional performance improvement.
• Revenue monitoring: Budgets for professional/technical revenue; reports status and changes; develops action plans for financial issues.
• Expense monitoring: Oversees budget-sensitive service model; staffing, productivity; coordinates with OR, ICU, Cardiology, HR, Contracting, and others.
• Resource coordination: Aligns patient care, research, and academics with project initiatives and cross-functional leadership.
• Service support: Supports new program development, faculty recruitment, credentialing, and faculty development.
• HR management: Provides feedback and development plans; handles staff performance per policy.
• System-wide involvement: Engages in hospital system and academic projects.
