Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta is seeking a frontline practice administrator to coordinate physician practice operations and provide administrative support to management. The role may function as a working supervisor and oversees small practices or assists a larger practice with 6+ physicians.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, with 3–6 years of medical office experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. No licenses required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
• Three years of relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates physician practice operations and provides administrative support to management of the physician practice(s). Proactively supports efforts that ensure efficient operations and may function as a working supervisor. Oversees a small (1 to 3 physicians) practice or assists practice manager with a large (6+ physicians) practice(s).

Education

Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

In Lieu of degree three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement
