Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Atlanta seeks an Operations Coordinator to coordinate physician practice operations and provide administrative support to management. The role may function as a working supervisor, overseeing a small practice (1–3 physicians) or assisting a larger practice (6+ physicians) to ensure efficient operations.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of healthcare office experience; a bachelor’s in business or healthcare

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Required
• In lieu of degree three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field Preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates physician practice operations and provides administrative support to management of the physician practice(s).
• Proactively supports efforts that ensure efficient operations and may function as a working supervisor.
• Oversees a small (1 to 3 physicians) practice or assists practice manager with a large (6+ physicians) practice(s).
