Job summary

HonorHealth's Sonoran Crossing Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a Building Systems Technician to oversee daily operation and preventive maintenance of power plant and HVAC equipment, including boilers, chillers and related systems. You’ll work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring safe, reliable operations and patient care support.

Qualifications

• 3 years of troubleshooting & maintenance experience in HVAC and power plant equipment.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Licenses/certifications: valid driver's license; refrigeration knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power plant and HVAC systems; document work in CMMS.
• Repair, inspect, test and calibrate building systems for reliability.
• Conduct daily inspections of boilers and pipelines; ensure code compliance.
• Troubleshoot patient care equipment and building systems; respond to requests promptly.
• Assist team on projects and preventive maintenance tasks.
