Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Building Systems Technician to manage daily operations, preventive and corrective maintenance for power plant and HVAC systems across hospital facilities. You will troubleshoot, test, and repair equipment, ensuring high reliability and patient care support.

The role requires independent work, strong communication with staff, and adherence to safety standards. A High School Diploma and refrigeration/controls training are preferred, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications or training in electronic controls preferred.
• Healthcare facilities experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain power plant and HVAC equipment.
• Document work in the CMMS system.
• Repair and test building systems to ensure uptime for patients and staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on boilers and related equipment.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements; provide customer service.
