Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Building Systems Technician to oversee daily operation and preventive maintenance of power plant and HVAC equipment across our facilities.

This role requires at least 3 years of troubleshooting and maintenance experience, with preferred electrical controls certification and technical training. You will work independently, ensure safe operation, and support patient care environments and intercom systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training preferred.
• Technical training diploma/degree preferred.
• Electronic controls certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Power Plant and HVAC systems; documents work in CMMS.
• Repairs, installs, tests, and troubleshoots building equipment for reliable service.
• Inspects boilers, pipelines, and vessels to maintain safe operation.
• Maintains equipment with proper chemical treatment for efficiency.
• Responds to customer requests with timely, friendly service.
• Supports other staff on projects and patient care equipment maintenance.
