Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks a Director of Project Management & Consulting to lead a team of project managers, drive strategic change, and improve patient experience, quality, and efficiency across the system.

You will guide strategic planning, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with the executive team and Board to deliver sustainable improvements in a complex healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in project management or consulting in healthcare.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Preferred: experience leading strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives.
• Preferred: PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or change management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the Project Management & Consulting function in support of Kaweah Health’s leadership and Board.
• Assesses strategic opportunities and prioritizes quality, patient experience, efficiency, and financial outcomes.
• Leads project managers to drive organizational change and sustainable improvements.
• Hires, coaches, and develops the project management team and conducts performance reviews.
• Develops annual project goals and cross-functional plans with internal clients.
• Oversees project plans, timelines, metrics, and deliverables for internal customers.
• Partners with others to ensure a positive, seamless experience for stakeholders.
