Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks an experienced nursing leader to drive evidence-based practice and clinical standardization across the ICU and related service lines. You will lead improvement initiatives, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and advance patient outcomes through standardized protocols and order sets.

The role emphasizes project leadership, change management, and education to ensure sustained practice changes and alignment with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required.
• BLS ACLS CCRN certification required/preferred.
• BSN degree required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive clinical nursing leadership experience.
• Experience leading improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to translate evidence into practice and lead cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation and adoption of evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with leaders to set clinical goals and metrics.
• Evaluate emerging evidence and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Design and sustain clinical improvement initiatives using PDSA cycles.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary performance improvement projects.
• Develop measurement plans and monitor indicators.
• Mentor nurses and interdisciplinary teams in practice changes.
• Partner with informatics and physicians to optimize EHR workflows.
