Qualifications

• License /Certification Required: CA RN license
• Education Preferred: Masters degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline
• Experience Required: Five years of management experience in healthcare leadership
• Three years case management experience
• Preferred: Three years of leadership experience in patient throughput or patient flow operations
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Leadership, collaboration, negotiation, change management, strategic planning, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and directing all aspects of throughput related care including Case Management, Utilization Management, Patient Throughput and Clinical Documentation Improvement
• Hold direct reports accountable for meeting standards of professional practice and patient care
• Directs the delivery of patient care in areas of responsibility per care plan and nursing plan
• Collaborate with Directors to coordinate staff work for effective patient care and achieve core measures
