Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a skilled healthcare facilities maintenance professional responsible for maintaining and repairing hospital equipment and building systems. The role covers mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems, with emphasis on safety and accurate record-keeping.

Candidates should have a valid state driver’s license, and certification or licensure related to healthcare engineering.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
• Maintains and repairs equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Maintains the building and its related systems.
