Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade related to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains logs on all hospital equipment and ensures a safe working environment.
• Maintains and repairs mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
