Virginia Commonwealth University Health seeks a Senior Patient Safety & Quality Consultant to partner with executives and clinical leaders in strategic planning and data-driven improvement. You will coach, facilitate, and mentor teams; manage multi-disciplinary projects through inception, implementation and spread; and lead education in safety and quality methodologies to enhance organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in healthcare field (e.g. MSHA, MPH, MSN, MHA), Quality Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Licensure/Certification Required: Current license in the Commonwealth of Virginia (e.g. RN, Pharmacist, NP, RD or similar).
• PMI-PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or CPPS required within 1 year to maintain position.
• Licensure/Certification Preferred: CPQH/CPPS/ PMP and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferences.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Patient Safety/Quality & Process Improvement/Project Management.
