Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Sr. Programmer/Analyst - IT Business Systems to lead the analysis, design, and development on Oracle PeopleSoft applications. You will work under project management direction, ensuring scalable ERP-related solutions across Finance and Supply Chain domains.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant experience, strong PeopleSoft and PeopleTools skills, and the ability to guide teammates while supporting 24x7 production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 7 years of applicable work experience; 5 years in Healthcare preferred.
• Expertise with Oracle Peoplesoft v9.x HR and/or Finance/Supply Chain modules
• Expertise with Oracle Peoplesoft PeopleTools 8.5x
• Experience with Application Designer, Peoplecode, Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR, Integration Broker and XML Publisher
• Experience with PS Query, SQL
• Peoplesoft performance/SQL tuning experience preferred
• Experience with at least two major Peoplesoft implementations/upgrades
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Experience/exposure to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation on PeopleSoft applications.
• Define system scope and objectives based on user needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced teammates; support production and on-call duties.
• Troubleshoot application and data issues; communicate risks and solutions to management for integrated multi-stream delivery.
