Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a part-time Payment Processing Clerk to post cash, checks, and electronic funds receipts across multiple sites and payer sources. You will ensure accurate posting to the correct resident or patient accounts and collaborate with coordinators to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities include AR adjustments, cash reconciliations, and supporting site teams with deposits, while identifying process improvements and participating in trainings.

Qualifications

• Experience posting cash, check, or electronic funds receipts.
• Experience with healthcare billing, collections, and funds receipts posting.
• Experience with accounts receivables analytics.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Post receipt of cash, check or electronic funds payments into designated software.
• Ensure payments are applied to the correct site and resident, patient, or consumer.
• Reconcile posted payments with the cash receipts daily intake log and document discrepancies.
• Identify issues and assist with research to resolve receivables and cash posting problems.
• Assist with accounts receivable write-offs and other revenue adjustments with supervisor approval.
• Collaborate with site personnel to gather information for deposits and cash posting reconciliation.
• Suggest process improvements and participate in team trainings.
