Alight is seeking a Healthcare Workforce & Skill-Building Specialist to support New Americans in preparing for and growing within healthcare careers from the Minneapolis hub. This full-time grant-funded role coordinates with ECS, employers, community organizations, and training partners to provide direct employment support and pathways into credentialing such as PCA and CNA.

The position requires collaboration, digital literacy programming, and tracking participant outcomes, with local travel

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service or administrative experience.
• Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Recruit and engage New Americans for healthcare careers.
• Provide guidance to identify healthcare career pathways.
• Support participants with job search activities, resumes, and interview prep.
• Help participants stay in roles for 90 days and assist 10 people achieve 90 days.
• Coordinate referrals to PCA certification pathways and CNA training.
