This fully remote role involves managing regulatory compliance, drafting legal documents, and conducting due diligence for business development. The Paralegal supports administrative and legal functions, including researching regulatory and compliance issues, preparing documents for correspondence, conducting due diligence for business development, reviewing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing records for PHS entities.
This role requires managing multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment in administrative and legal matters.
5-7 years of paralegal experience, including at least 3 years in healthcare law, with understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred). A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program is required.
Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and clear, concise writing are essential.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage priorities with minimal oversight.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work with diverse groups and develop rapport at all organizational levels.
