Qualifications

• 1 year or more in healthcare business development/outreach.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources (hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices).
• Coordinates patient admissions and collects required referrals.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
• Meets admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
• Documents daily sales calls in CRM with notes.
• Promotes Amedisys at community events.
