Baton Rouge General Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an experienced Supervisor to oversee daily patient registration and business services, ensuring efficient registration, strong revenue cycle support, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service for patients, families, physicians, and staff.

The role leads staff, coordinates staffing, analyzes performance data, drives improvements, and supports budgeting while upholding safety, quality, and Everyday Excellence values.

Formación

• 2+ years of healthcare registration and insurance verification experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of patient registration and revenue cycle processes.
• Willingness to travel across campus locations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily operations of patient registration and business services areas.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate staff including hiring, performance reviews, and corrective action.
• Ensure departmental goals, priorities, and performance measures are carried out daily.
• Coordinate staffing and adjust work distribution based on patient volume.
• Monitor productivity and operational data to improve efficiency and service.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate registration and account flow.
• Address patient, physician, and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support budgeting efforts and monitor resource utilization.
• Promote safety, quality, teamwork, and Everyday Excellence values.
