Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Business Operations Manager in Atlanta to lead delivery operations across Provider Screening, Enrollment and Monitoring. You will ensure SLA compliance, manage a 35–50 person team, and drive improvements within a global healthcare tech services environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, developing operational metrics, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA policies while partnering with clients to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of operations leadership experience at large complex healthcare organizations.
• Preferred Medicaid systems/MMIS/Provider Module experience.
• Highly organized with analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• This role may require up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day business operations for all areas of delivery related to Provider Screening, Enrollment and Monitoring, including: Document Management and Workflow Performance, Provider Data Management, Provider Support Services (training and site visits), Provider Enrollment Call Center.
• Directs Operations functional teams across the MMIS business and works independent of supervision.
• Oversees programs with a typical team size of 35-50 resources, oversees leaders/direct reports within the operations.
• Oversees compliance to Service Level Agreements, monitors and tracks client-specific SLAs and implements corrective actions.
• Collaborates with subcontractors and vendors and provides input for contracts.
• Develops metrics for the Operations function and uses them for communication and continuous improvement.
• Applies advanced operations methodologies, best practices, and procedures to achieve objectives.
• Interfaces with senior management and shares industry best practices.
• Partners with clients and builds collaborative relationships; analyzes issues from the client perspective.
• Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments.
• Coordinates with various Operations Leaders on Change Requests, Project Management, and QA, EIS, Delivery Services, and the Enterprise PMO.
• Reads and adheres to corporate policies including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
