Job summary

The Center for Discovery seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead Rock Hill operations, guiding medical, education, and facilities management under the CEO’s vision.

You will drive workforce development, compliance, budgeting, and strategic initiatives across major programs including the Children’s Specialty Hospital, TLC, and Article 28 clinics to uphold high standards of care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Business or Healthcare Administration.
• Minimum 10 years of operations management experience.
• Executive experience with IDD population, OPWDD and Article 28.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Day-to-Day Operations across Rock Hill and programs.
• Leads workforce management and staff training initiatives.
• Direct staffing, recruitment, and retention efforts.
• Drive strategic initiatives and major projects (Children’s Specialty Hospital, TLC, Article 28 expansion).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OPWDD, NYS DOH, OMIG.
• Oversee budgets and revenue cycle coordination.
