Job summary

IU Health, a leading health system in Indiana, seeks a Project Manager-Operational Excellence to drive quality, efficiency and patient-centered care across the network. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business, engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management, performance improvement, or healthcare operations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with project management tools and data visualization platforms.
• Ability to lead at least 3 projects simultaneously.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent improvement certification preferred.
• Experience in hospital operations, ambulatory care, or health system performance improvement preferred.
• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards, quality frameworks, and patient safety principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and sustain improvement projects across the health system.
• Develop project charters, timelines, communication plans, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate cross-functional workgroups and manage risks and milestones.
• Collaborate with analytics to define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and change management to drive lasting results.
• Create training materials and stakeholder updates to support adoption.
