Job summary

Privia Health, a technology-driven physician enablement company, seeks an Operations Consultant I to manage a portfolio of clinically integrated practices with 50% MD market travel (Annapolis region). You will drive performance results, coordinate with care centers, and lead strategic planning for value-based and fee-for-service contracts.

The role emphasizes analysis, transformation, and mentorship of care-center teams to deliver improved outcomes and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Healthcare Master’s or MBA highly preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience with physicians and medical group staff.
• Quantitatively and financially proficient; can read, interpret, and explain financial data.
• Independent and autonomous; ability to build a case to effect change.
• Project management experience juggling multiple projects and urgent deliverables.
• General understanding of Population Health Management and risk-based contracts.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and own a portfolio of partner physician practices.
• Serve as point of contact for portfolio care centers and provide regular updates.
• Partner with physician owners on strategic planning & execution (VBC & FFS).
• Drive care transformation with Privia VBC and physician leadership.
• Track and manage metrics related to finance, revenue cycle, productivity, and clinical performance.
• Review data, share best practices and coach care centers on strategies to succeed in value-based care.
• Develop presentation materials to communicate status of initiatives.
• Evaluate and re-engineer practice workflows to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach practice administrators in management of physician practices.
• Coordinate with Care Centers to ensure timely delivery of requested deliverables.
• Assist in growing and improving performance and revenue in market.
