Job summary

Privia Health is seeking an Operations Consultant I to manage a portfolio of partner physician practices and drive performance through value-based care initiatives. You will coordinate with care centers, analyze metrics, mentor administrators, and roll out Privia initiatives, with up to 70% local travel in the Maryland market.

The role requires strong collaboration with physicians and leaders to transform care delivery while maintaining excellent client service and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and own a portfolio of partner physician practices
• Serve as point of contact for portfolio care centers and provide routine updates
• Partner with physician owners on strategic planning & execution (VBC & FFS performance)
• Partner with Privia VBC and physician leadership to drive care transformation
• Track and manage metrics related to finance, revenue cycle, productivity, clinical performance, VBC and customer experience
• Review data, share best practices and coach care center teams on VBC strategies
• Drive growth and operational improvement to a portfolio of physician practices
• Facilitate development and implementation of action plans to meet strategic KPIs
• Review reports with practices to drive transparency and performance
• Develop materials to communicate status of initiatives
• Evaluate practice workflow to improve throughput and efficiency
• Mentor and coach practice administrators in management of their physician practices
• Engage resources to meet care center needs and ensure timely delivery
• Manage expectations with care centers on timeframes and service delivery
• Assist in growth, performance and revenue strategies
• Assist in coordinating in-market physician meetings for primary and specialty care
• Evaluate operations and provide strategic feedback for improvement
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare topics and share relevant information
• Develop knowledge in software platforms such as athenaHealth Performance Management and EHR
• Provide top-notch customer service to ensure issues are resolved and clients are satisfied
• Ensure operations comply with accreditation, statutory and regulatory requirements
• Aid in transitioning practices from Fee-For-Service to risk-based reimbursement
• Roll out and communicate new Privia initiatives
• Provide leadership and coaching to associate consultants to drive performance
