Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Southeast Michigan is seeking an Office Coordinator to oversee specified areas of the office in collaboration with the Practice Manager to deliver exceptional patient care. You will ensure patients receive friendly, efficient service and maintain a smooth office flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with applicable college coursework or seminars in management and supervision. Prefer associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Management, Healthcare Administration, etc).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Manages more complex patient reception/medical records problems or insurance issues.
• Provides suggestions to continually improve processes and the customer experience.
• Assists with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintains scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluates the performance of staff, recommends promotions and disciplinary action.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
