Job summary

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Network Support candidate to join the MIS Infrastructure team. The selected applicant will be responsible for upkeep of hospital information systems and for overall troubleshooting of hospital computers, printers and integrated equipment.

They will assist in training for hardware/software updates and support Information Systems staff with technical issues and software upgrades as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Enrolled in or finished IT program; IT certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of information systems; TCP/IP, 802.11x, Windows OS, Office, backups, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of hospital information systems and overall troubleshooting.
• Install hospital computers, printers and integrated equipment; assist in training for updates.
• Assist IS staff with technical issues and software upgrades; support projects.
